Standard safety features include:

  • Continuous pressure Smart-Lite controls that guide passengers with illuminated prompts
  • Fully automated folding/unfolding platform and safety arms

Drive System

The Artira’s ultra-quiet drive system is located at the upper end of the lift for efficient operation.
Two installation options are available:
  • Standard Drive Box: Traditional configuration
  • Compact Drive: Space-saving alternative
Power requirements:
  • 208–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz on a dedicated 20-amp circuit

Platform Options:
  • Four standard platform sizes, including ADA-compliant 31.5” x 48”
  • Side-load platform available for confined lower landings
  • Folded platform conceals safety arms and controls, protecting them from vandalism
Finishes:
  • Standard: electrostatically applied, baked polyester powder coating in Satin Grey fine-textured finish (RAL 7030) for indoor use
  • Outdoor: bead-blasted, electropolished stainless steel
  • Optional: custom RAL colors, stainless steel, or painted stainless finishes
Additional Options:
  • Automatic platform folding (auto-fold feature)
  • Attendant remote control for assisted operation
  • Integrated pedestrian handrails for shared stairways
  • Folding seat and seatbelt for semi-ambulatory passengers
